Tarny's dad is renowned San Francisco Watercolor Artist, Dale Perkins. Dale has one of the largest collections of San Francisco watercolor paintings. AnWatercolors are his specialty, but he is also gifted at doing Pen and Ink renderings. Dale also developed a surf comic strip called The Surf Dude with Tarny. Dale will soon be releasing his pencil drawings of San Francisco to the web.
Dale was the only San Francisco Artist selected to represent San Francisco at the unveiling of a statue of St. Francis in Assisi, Italy. Assisi, the Sister City of San Francisco was celebrating the unveiling of a nine ton, nine foot tall bronze sculpture of Saint Francis, a permanent gift to the City of Assisi by San Francisco.
